Ein weggeworfenes Kassettenband zieht sich über eine gesamte Straßenkreuzung im nächtlichen Tel Aviv. Die Kamera folgt sehr langsam dem sich schlängelnden Band, dabei ist israelische Popmusik zu hören. Diese „Eastern Music“, bestehend aus arabischem Klang und hebräischem Text ist der gerettete Originalton, der auf diesem Magnetband aufgenommen worden war. Der Blick des Betrachters wird zum Tonabnehmer.

„yalla playback“ is a video based on the found remains of a culture and its re-composition. Here Huber follows a discarded music cassette tape with her camera in Tel Aviv, the tape rolled out and scattered in the street. She recovers the tape and restores the ‘ eastern style’ music recorded on it, then combines it the music with the video taken. The camera slowly follows the tape, building a complex relationship between and sound.
