Aufnahmen von künstlichen Steinen und Felsanlagen aus dem Internet werden mit eigenen Architekturfotografien kombiniert. Mit dem angedeuteten Charme informativer Flurbilder einer archäologischen Forschungsabteilung präsentieren sich die neun Bildtableaus in Form gerahmter Plakate. Eine fotografische Montage verbindet Waschbetonstrukturen der Moderne, skulptural inszenierte Reste römischer Stadtmauern, romantische Parkgrotten und -ruinen oder auch Theaterfelsen. Mittelalterliche Steinfragmente ‚verbacken‘ sich mit den Trümmerziegeln der Nachkriegszeit und modernem Beton zu Gebilden und Architekturen, die Fragen nach Substanz und Oberfläche aufwerfen, historisch wie materiell.

Images of artificial stones and rock structures sourced from the Internet are combined with Huber’s own architectural photographs. With the implied charme of informative images hung in an archaeological research department, the nine picture panels are presented in the form of framed posters. A photographic montage combines modern aggregate concrete structures, sculpturally staged remnants of Roman city walls, romantic park grottos or theatre stage rocks. Original medieval stone fragments are ’baked in’ with the rubble bricks of the post-war period and modern concrete to form structures and architectures that raise questions about substance and surface, both historically and materially.
